Description

The listing, Stunning Burgundy Towers Malvaceae Hollyhock seed for 55+ plants has ended.

I'm offering 55+ seeds of this dazzling color. This unusual form occurred here some time ago with strong stems carrying large, deepest crimson flowers & fig-shaped leaves. In common with other fig-leaved Hollyhocks, these have proven to be very resistant to leaf rust, which is common in some varieties. They are just stunning when in full bloom with flowers galore with a height of 5-7 ft. They are so beautiful against a structure in your yard or at the back of the garden, with other shorter flowers of the same pallet in the foreground. Zones 3-10 they will come back & you will get tons of seeds to resow or share with your friends. Easy to grow & collect seeds in the fall. The flowers begin in late spring in most climates, continuing freely into midsummer. Butterflies & bees flock to their center, further increasing the beauty of the display. I did not have to tie mine up or stake them. The strong stems held them straight & tall with some of them 2-4 ft. away from the side of the garage. You are sure to love these every time they catch your gaze. These need to soak 24 hrs; at room temp. for faster germination. Plant in spring to get 2 full years, since these are bi-annuals, they will self sow if you leave seeds on the plant or replant every 2 years to plan where you want them. The 2nd year bloom is the most magnificent, so plant these every year, along with other colors to always have a lovely show.

Well not when you think about that you can get 33,750 credits for $5. Plus I offer a lot of seed & send lots of extras, on line you don't get that much in a packet, and they go for $3.26-$3.41 + shipping. At 26,000 credits, it's still a great deal
