Yes, "Genuine Lucite"! Collectors know this durable (Space Age) material was uber-popular in the 1950s and 1960s, and has returned as a choice of designers this century.

This auction is for two pair of clip-on drop earrings, still on their original cards. One pair is solid navy blue, the other is pure white. Both have gold-tone findings.

The Fine Print:

* NOS – “New Old Stock” – this was purchased and packed away by my aunt. After surviving a house fire (the box/card may be slightly smoke stained, but has been deodorized), this was placed in storage with many other objects. A few years ago, I inherited some of the stored items, which are now considered vintage pieces.

** If there is a price tag shown, it is from the original purchase, before any inflation and vintage status.
