The listing, SUPER SIZE AUCTION has ended.

I have 12 new balls of crocheting thread in this auction.There are 5 light blue,4 green,4 blue and white stripe and 3 aqua .I do not know anymore about these as they came to me without a label.My mom was the crocheter in my family and she is no longer here so I can't ask her anything about the size of these or anything else.

I only ship to the U.S.

Now for this....I do follow all Listia rules.
I will fan back and I will try to answer questions in a timely manner.

Questions & Comments

It looks like a brand called Ice Yarns that I started seeing around a few years back. If I'm right it would be about size 5, which is a little heavier than size 10, but not as thick as size 3. Ice has a nice soft and flexible texture. I have seen Ice Yarns in a shade that looks a lot like that metallic pale teal and that lavender(?) metallic.

The other possibility is that it's from the Lizbeth Crochet Thread line, but I don't recall them having the metallic look.

F&W... As a crocheter and a thread crochet lover, I would say this is more along the lines of Aunt Lydia's thread or possibly Knit CroSheen. Nice listing!

I could care less if they are size 3, 5 or 10 as I use them all for different projects. I couldn't possibly guess from a pic but, I do know - I WANT! Hehehe. I doubt I'll be able to earn enough credits in time though. I expect this will go really high! Will be watching, earning & hoping! :)
BTW, color-wise, the blue & white does look like a Knit CroSheen I have. My label is gone too but, that's the brand our local store sells. Who knows, could be. :P

Anyways I don't have a label directly in front of me but I think I have some of this in a couple colors and have been looking around for more of it and walla here your wonderful auction appears.

You said there are 12 balls in your description, but I count a total of 16 balls, with the 4 yellow balls on the right. Are these included in this auction? My mother was a crocheter, too, and I came to love crochet through her. Now, I am creating my own crochet creations, to include a wedding dress I made for my eldest daughter several years ago. I would be more than honored to have this thread that was your mother's to continue making all sorts of beautiful "pretties", as you call them, in honor of both of our mothers. After taking a closer look at the picture, I am more inclined to believe this thread is a number 10 in size. I work with a lot of #10 thread. Hopefully, I will be the lucky winner of this auction and will be able to tell you for certain if I am. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother on June 1, 2000, and I've missed her every day since. Thankfully, I have some of her crochet masterpieces, as well as my own love of the craft, to keep her memory alive. Those are cherished pieces in my house. Please accept my most sincere condolences! I have fanned you and will most definitely be bidding large in order to try to win this auction!
