These fennel seeds were harvested from a local children's garden in November 2015. Not sure if the original seeds that were planted were organic, but the plants these seeds were taken from were grown naturally and organically. There were more seeds than we needed so we are passing them on to others! I didn't get a photo of the plants there, so the pic is a stock photo of fennel, just to give you a general idea, and may not identically represent the exact species of fennel of these seeds. Rather than counting them, I measured out a 1/4 teaspoon, which should be at least 100 seeds, as seen in the photo. The general fennel planting instructions picture was taken from a seed packet I had.
