I'm going to try something new just for fun, and if it goes well I may do it regularly. This auction is for a custom handmade painting by me for you. I went to school for art and have been painting professionally for almost seven years. It will be painted on a gallery wrapped canvas (the painting goes all the way around the outside edges and doesn't need a frame), varnished for protection and ready to be hung on your wall. Depending on the size I will either put a hanging wire on the frame, or a sawtooth hanger.

The paintings in the picture are just some examples of my past work. Your art will be custom made for you and will be a surprise.

The size of the painting will depend on the final bid amount:

100-499: 4" X 4"
500-999: 4" X 6"
1000-1499: 6" X 6"
1500-1999: 6" X 8"
2000-2999: 8" X 8"
3000-3999: 8" X 10"
4000-4999: 10" X 10"
5000-5999: 9" X 12"
6000 and up: 12" X 12"

What I will paint for you will be based on your answers to the survey in the first comment of this listing. Simply send me your answers after the auction is closed, and I will mail out your finished painting within one week of receiving your answers and mailing address! If you would like me to make the painting for someone else, I can do that as well. Just have them fill out the survey and return it to me as soon as possible, or you can fill it out for them if you'd like it to be be a surprise.

As a bonus I will also throw in two glossy post cards, one each of two of my most recent paintings, regardless of the amount of the high bid. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
