Java Moss (Versicularia dubyana) is a common aquarium moss belonging to the Hypnaceae family. It attaches to rocks and roots and to driftwood. It is a slow starter until it has established itself.

Java Moss does not require any special attention. It accepts all kind of waters, even weakly brackish, and all kind of light qualities at a wide range of temperature.

It is especially popular among aquariasts raising fry (baby fish), to protect them from cannibalistic adults.

You will receive a medium sized clump (about 3" square in water) of java moss.

I'm wanting to breed my guppies. Is this good moss for their fry? I don't really want to stress my fish out with a tank divider.

Yes. The moss is awesome for fish fry and many breeders love it because the young fish can really get in deep and hide while they grow.

Yes, you will occasionally need to cut some back because it does continue to grow.

I do keep malaysian trumpet snails but they are live bearers. I inspect each shipment prior to sending to ensure there are no snails in it. (It's rare I ever find one in the moss since they're nocturnal and burrow.)

Man I wish someone could get this now. I spent credits on this but it was out bidded so they are gonna get back to me but the problem is that I need them before this other auction ends and it ends 1 hour before this one. So does anybody know how I could possibly get the credits I bidded here back sooner
