Description
The listing, 10 Seeds from This Brilliant Red Japanese Maple Tree has ended.
This lovely ornamental tree sits at the entry of my place of employment. I work for a landscape maintenance company. Every tree and shrub on this property are from excellent nursery quality stock. The seeds that I will send you will be from the tree pictured above. The vibrant red color of these maple leaves continues from early spring through late fall. This tree has weathered two or three extremely dry seasons in Georgia with no special attention so I think I can safely say that it is drought resistant.
I have a bonus for any bidder who reaches 300 credits. I will include half a dozen flowering quince seeds! Happy Bidding!
Please take note: I will only ship to an address received through the proper Listia channels.
Questions & Comments
A caution to bidders! Maple and quince seeds must be sprouted outdoors all winter, or through a process in a refrigerator. The japanese maple will almost certainly not look anything like the parent plant. The quince seeds however, are very much worth 300 credits!
Storing seeds in a refrigerator for three to four months to be planted in the spring is hardly cautionary for my bidders. There is wonderful information on the internet "you tube", as chrisambershaybradj so kindly pointed out, and I find your post both contrary and rude.
You tube is a great thing! I learn how to grow many plants through you tube! LOL! It would be a fun project for me. Japanese maple make great bonsai! :) thanks for posting this auction! Gave comments +1
