This Auction is for a Semi-Precious Carnelian Gemstone set in. 925 Stamped Sterling Silver Pendant. This beauty measures 1" Long ( including bail ) by 1/2" wide by 1/4th" deep. This is a delicate Pendant with a pretty design on the back and edges. Make sure that you look through all the pics to see the detail.

Yes hubby and I did everything from making the mold to the casting to the shaping of the stone for this Pendant. We each have our strengths and together we make a great team. I hope that answers your question. Any particular reason or specific information I can provide you?

So so beautiful! I didn't know that you created these ~ what a wonderful skill, i admire it!
I remember being in school in the early 70's, silver was not so costly and Art class introduced us to tooling silver...it was amazing!

Yes, About 15 year ago hubby and I built a Circa 1850's forge to see if we could and it just built on from there. Some of my pieces are made by local artisans but i always list it if it is. We buy our Silver in Ingots by the lb so yes it can be expensive but when we were doing it full time then there is always a break in bulk. Nice! I always wanted to make a kiln, to create ceramic buttons for my hand knits~or to sell. It can be difficult to find just the right buttons :o)

I know a Kiln can be expensive my Grandma was a China Painter and she has a small one that she bought when she first started and larger one that she bought later in life and they were a pretty penny. Everything you need to make your own from brick and mortar can be found and downloaded for FREE from the Library of Congress. Hubby and I have found a treasure trove there.
