.ok ladys i have for the sewing lover a roll of cotton fabric from joanne&craft the whole roll is 9/and a half yards and 5/and a half wide ok this is how its gonna go you are bidding on two yards of fabric on this i will put i gin cause some people may want the whole 9 and a half yards if gin is used i will pay the flate rate box of 10,95 this was a very expen,roll of fabric as anyone who buys fabric know the price on just a yard can be exsp, comes from a smoke and pet free home if only a couple of yards are won shipping will be 5.95 paid buy winner.thanx and good luck .ok lets try this again you are bidding on two yards of fabric yes there is more then nine yards but you are bidding on two yards i put the gin cause someone mght want more then the two yards

It is classified at Jo Ann fabrics as Decorator fabric. YOU CAN use for upholstery. Decorator fabric has a tighter weave than regular apparel or craft use fabric. Now, if you are looking for the nappy upholstery fabric, than no, this is not for you. But, YES this is Home Decorator fabric and is often used for drapery as well as recovering chairs, sofas, etc. It can also be used to make coverlets. I have even cut it up and used it in quilts. It wears very well due to the 25/1 thread content. It is suggested that the fabric be drycleaned to prevent any shrinkage in the fabric. Although it can be washed and if you intend to use it in a project that will be washed, then pre wash prior to making the project. Just thought I would add that comment.

well thank you so much for your comment and taking the time to go online to find the info you are so helpful ,well even though i did not use it for upholstery ,i used it to make to very large table cloths for my to wooden picnic tables in my back yard ,and maid the matching apron ,and i wash my apron all the time and never had any problems with it still fits the same didnt shrink on me , oh and when i post my other fabric i will let you know so you can take the time to look up alll the info for me thanks again.have a great day.

Would you please clarify? So am I bidding on the 9 1/2 yard roll and it is 45" or 54" wide? I don't understand some of what you put in your description. So please clarify the width and if we receive the total 9 !/2 yards.

its 54 wide sorry about that if you use gin you get the 9 1/2 yards other then that you are bidding on two yards
