this is a Samsung galaxy Sll model # SPH-M840. its a Boost Mobile Android phone. its in real good shape ! it does have very minimal scuffing to the bottom edge but that's hardly noticeable ! it works great! it even has a 2 gb SD card in it! it has both front and rear cameras.

unlocked? does it take a sim card

well, I don't really see a slot for a sim card. all I can find is the sd card, sorry. as far as being unlocked goes, i'm not even certain what, exactly that means ! i'm one of those people who , if having a problem with a phone, i'll hand it off to someone that knows what their doing. sorry !

how many MP is the camera's front and rear. I I just would like the thing to caputer pictures and video of a upcoming concert. you don't need to be on a phone plan to use the camera do ya?

no, you don't have to be on a plan to use the camera. I don't really know how many m.p.'s the cameras are, but I can tell you that it takes beautiful, sharp, clear pictures! hope that helps!! thanks

you may be right because I did have both an s2 and an s3 and I could never remember which was which because I hardly ever used either one. now if my daughter was around right now she wouldn't have any problem at all with that! sometimes I thought I would have to use a crowbar to pry them from her hands! lol ! thanks for looking!
