This box was so fun to turn. A friend of mine carved the pentagram/pentacle and Celtic knot lid for me and did an amazing job. It's made of red oak and has a clear coat finish to bring out the amazing colors. This is a piece that would make any witch proud to own. Would also make a great gift for the magically endowed person in your life.
It measures 4" x 2" x 1 /34" deep. The lid can twist to tighten. That's where you see the arrows on the side. (see 3rd photo)
Would be an amazing altar piece, jewelry box, crystal or stone keeper or just a stunning addition to all your collectables. I know the winner will be thrilled with this no matter how they choose to use it.
Sorry about the dirty glove on my hand in the last photo. Just had hand surgery and trying to keep my bandage clean. It's working. lol. Between working with lathe, stain, pets, etc. it gets dirty fast. ;-)
