about 22 inches wide. tag says it was $5.44 a yard and end price was $23.12 about 4 1/4 yards weighs about 1 1/2 pounds

At 22", is the fabric folded in half, making it 44" in total width? I have never seen fabric that is 22" wide. Thanks!

you can tell I do not sew nor know much about it, I didn't even unfold it I partially unrolled it and measured so more than likely its 44 inch

Linda, almost all fabrics, except the extra-wide widths (usually the upholstery fabrics) come folded in half. So, for future reference, just unfold one end of the piece and find the corners to see if there are two layers. Then, measure the width and double it to get you full width. I hope that helps. That's how I learned years ago, when I didn't know anything about sewing, either. Thanks so much for your reply. Hope I win it!!!
