They just slide on, they have elastic tabs on each side of the tongue. Hope this helps!

Bidding. :) I think these would be easier to put on my daughter, then her Nike tennis shoes. She has a problem with curling her toes. :)

Both my babies curled their toes! My son didnt wear any shoes until he was 1 because I couldn't get them on him
