Description
The listing, 1960's Glass Japanese Millefiori Flower Cabochons 18x13mm SET OF FOUR. (lotA) has ended.
1960's Glass Japanese Millefiori Flower Cabochons 18x13mm SET OF FOUR. The word "Millefiori" is Italian and means 1000 flowers. To make these flower patterns on the bead or cabochon is labor intensive and requires hand cutting a hot cane of glass that has been patterned. These are unsold old stock from a warehouse on the West Coast. They are made in Japan and were imported in the late 1960s during the flower power hippie craze. They are all handmade and so the sizes will vary a little but not enough to be problematic in setting. Winner gets all 4
I only managed to get a few of these and am listing both sets this is set millecabA for my reference :D
