The listing, Antique Gold Ring has ended.

This is a antique gold ring that I bought at an estate sale. This ring is to big for me so my lost your gain. I would say it is around a size 9- 9 1/2 but please don't hole me to it. This ring would make a great engagement ring. Can be sized to fit if needed.

The marking on it is AD925 which is gold from the web site I went to. Hope this helps

if it is marked 925, then it is not gold but sterling silver, 925 indicates the silver content 92.5%, if it is gold in color then it is plated with gold. gold hallmarks are 333 = 9k, 417 = 10k, 585 = 14k, 750 = 18k and sometimes 792 = 19k or 833 = 20k, 916 = 22k and 999 = 24k, the most common silver hallmark is 925, you will find some antique pieces marked 800 = 80% silver content and 900 = 90% silver content, you will never see gold hallmarked 925 as it is measured in karats/parts 24 parts being pure gold.

I spoke with Ms. Lydia and she said that yes it is gold but it's over Sterling Silver.

i agree with evelyn43, anything marked or stamped 925 is usually sterling silver

my guess is the stones are CZ, i dont think any jeweler would put a diamond on sterling, maybe a diamond flake or dust accent

I dont know if it's gold plated or real gold over the silver. I can only go by what Ms. Lydia told me. I do not have any papers or anything like that on this ring. I listed this ring so someone else could enjoy it. I have been honest and have given all the information that I was given. That is all I can do
