The listing, Elegant Applied Band Pattern Footed Compote/ Candy dish. EAPG has ended.
This is a great Victorian compote / candy dishI Made by King, Son & Company around 1885. The pattern name is Applied Bands or Batesville. It's a beautiful design with etched floral vines around the center and crown like or diamond like feet on the pedestal and the same bumps on the top of the dish. I have fond memories of it sitting on my families' buffet table, where my mom filled it with a buttery brittle covered in a thin layer of chocolate!
