Description

The listing, NEW Genuine Pashmina (think Cashmere) & Silk - Navy Blue, Light Blue, and Gray Paisley Scarf/Shawl has ended.

In celebration of reaching 500 fans, I decided to give away this scarf which is genuine 70% Pashmina wool (think Cashmere wool) and 30% Silk! It's gorgeous! Actually, the major (actually only) difference between Pashmina wool and Cashmere wool is the diameter of the wool fiber: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pashmina (a lot of people actually refer to the wool interchangeably).

It's a warm, soft scarf, and it's very delicate. It has a sheen to it in the light. It's navy blue, light blue, and gray, and it has a Paisley print. It is approximately 28" wide x 72" long. It has no pulls, pilling, holes, tears, or stains. It is brand new, never worn (well, except when I wore it for the pictures). As you can see, it looks awesome with jeans! (I actually almost chickened-out and removed this listing because I love this scarf so much, but then I remembered that I had already made the auction premium and I would have lost those credits...Doh!)

The second pic is taken without flash, and the third pic is taken with flash. In the last couple of pics, I'm wearing it two different ways (I stuck my tongue out in the very last pic because I could...LOL). I only used a stock photo of it for the first picture so that you can get the full view of it.

Comes from a smoke-free, hairy pet-free home (I have a snake and gecko, but they can do no harm : ) ).

I will only ship to addresses that have been verified via Listia's shipping address rules (check out Listia rules: Shipping Addresses section or go directly to the form at: http://www.listia.com/account/addresses) & that have been sent to me directly through Listia (& not through e-mail), which can be done after the auction ends. If you are not willing to send me your shipping address directly through Listia, then I cannot ship this to you.

Shipping to US will be done via First Class mail & includes tracking & is FREE.

Thanks! The scarf is beautiful. Well, I was going to list the boots, but I decided against it. When I received the boots, they fit me just fine (they are a 9 1/2), but the back of the boots of the heel is made of hard plastic. I only wore them for like 2 mins. around the house, and the boot heels killed my heels. So, I decided to buy shoe inserts at Walmart, I hot glued them to the back of the boots, and the boots felt divine on my feet.....except for one little problem. My right foot is bigger than my left foot, so the right boot was too tight on my right foot. Basically, by gluing the pads to the heels, I changed the boots from a size 9 1/2 to a size 8 1/2 or 9. I decided to re-purchase the boots in a size 10 off of Amazon, and glue heel pads on them also (and I was going to give the 9 1/2s away on Listia). I received the size 10 boots, but the leg opening shaft is too big for my calves (the company assumes that because I have bigger feet that I also must have bigger calves). So, the size 10s look ridiculous on me (even with my jeans tucked in, there is about 1.5" between the boot shafts and my calves). I decided to modify the size 9 1/2 boots once again (I took the pad off the back of the heel on the right boot and I'm using it as a foot pad instead, so it's not too bad). I really love the 9 1/2 boots (the 10s just look stupid on me), and now that the right boot is not too tight on my right foot, I probably won't be listing them.

If your boots are nice and new, I bet you will get lots of bids. I won some last Christmas and I was sooooo happy!

Thanks! Well, you would be surprised at how randomly successful my auctions are! I mean, I just had a pair of genuine natural topaz & gold earrings go for only 1060 credits! They were expensive too. I probably won't be placing genuine gemstone earrings on here again. :(

I know what you mean; sometimes you can list something really nice and get almost nothing for it, and then you list some dumb thing and get tons of credits. You can't always predict.... Last year I auctioned a Pashmina shawl like this and it was Featured and these two women got into a bidding war over it. It was sooooo funny; the shawl went for like 15,000 credits, which in those days was a lot.

That's so crazy! I totally believe you. I wish that would happen with me. Watch me get, like, no credits for this shawl (it was expensive, and I will be so upset). Well, I probably won't be posting the boots because I really like the style and I was able to modify the right boot a second time so that it fits my foot better. I left a really long comment about it to mamaws8 (posted above).

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I had like 22 people watching the topaz earrings auction, so I thought that I was going to do well too. Oh well, it's all good. Thanks for your bid!

Very nice!!! My Dad got em a similar scarf from Italy when he went there (He took his gf and not his daughters.. grrr!!!) and I love it! I'm using it way to much and it's starting to fray, so I would love to have a similar scarf!!! This is lovely!

Thanks! I didn't get this scarf from Italy, but I did buy several other scarves when I was in Italy. I was thinking of listing a couple of them too (I have way too many scarves).

I love it too! I totally regret listing it (I don't have another one exactly like this one....I thought that I would be able to get another one exactly like it, but I was wrong :( ), but I'm sure that the winner is going to love it!

Thanks! I immediately regretted listing this scarf right after I made it premium because it is a gorgeous scarf. I simply have too many scarves (I also have too many purses....I'm thinking of listing one of my Coach purses....). I always try to list stuff that I think ppl will actually want because it's not worth me paying for the S&H if the stuff is junk (and it's not worth ppl paying to return the item to me if they aren't happy with it), you know what I mean?

LOL, you're too funny. I'm a little too heavy to be shipped first class, unfortunately. But, the scarf is light enough to be shipped first class, and I can afford to ship it to you for free.

Well, I decided not to list the boots mainly because the boots that the next 1/2 size up, which are supposed to fit me better then the smaller ones, don't fit me as well (they fit my feet better, but the calves are way too wide for me....the company assumed that just because my feet are bigger that my calves must be wider, which they aren't). So, I have to make the ones that I was going to give away work for me, unfortunately. Maybe I should just buy a new pair and post them on Listia? I'll have to look into it.
