The listing, 4 Large Skein Cones Yarn has ended.

This auction is for all 4 cones of yarn.

The colors are very complimentary. Green, gold, maroon, black

The green is the largest at nearly 9 oz minus cone weight. The others are all about 5 oz. The brand is from Phoenix Dye - a vintage company. It appears to be a wool / acrylic blend but is not marked. The strand size is a little thicker than a Red Heart sport weight and slightly more course or wool like.

This yarn was given to me used and stored in a clean smoke free location. It is vintage yarn and the very outer layer of the cone has some lint, but it is not smelly yarn. I always wash my finished work and would use a cold gentle cycle for this yarn with a low heat or air dry.

I package for shipment within 1-2 days and provide tracking.

Sure Wish the yarn was Softer, because all my dogs have a closet of Crocheted Sweaters.Just made a Doggie Sweater for little Beagle walking done the street. Wanted 2 use this yarn because of colors, Glad you mentioned 'texture', because it would be to rough for my guys. Although this is a "Great Lot"

To be clear. It feels like an acrylic wool blend. I personally think of all acrylic yarns as rough in comparison to cotton or silk. I would use this yarn for sweaters, blankets, scarves, hats. I mention the thickness as it would be heavier and warmer than standard Red Heart.
