The listing, Authentic B. Makowsky Silver Handbag w/ leopard print lining **possible free shipping has ended.

This is a gently used authentic B. Makowsky handbag in silver - it's a metallic looking silver and the inside is leopard print. There is plenty of room in this purse - it measures over 17 inches across and is nearly 14 inches deep - there's a large zippered pouch that separates the 2 sides - it's for anything that would go in your wallet, but could also fit the actual wallet too if you wanted. It has the shorter straps. I tried finding it online, or one close to it and I found one on ebay selling for $115 (pre-owned) - this one is quite a bit larger than that one - this is a heavy duty purse that is made to last. I will split the cost of shipping with the winner IF bid goes over 2,000 - IF it goes over 5,000 shipping will be free. Thanks for looking and happy bidding :)

Oh, this auction is awesome! I've seen B. Makowsky purses at Ross, and the purses still cost over $100 each (usually around $125-$150, if I remember correctly)!

I have one of his purses and it's the softest leather and the inside is similar to this one. His purses are great.

it is really soft - I found the tag and it says genuine leather - I had no idea it was and it never occurred to me that there was a tag inside a purse - lol - I appreciate the comment too, I feel like I'm learning so much from my fellow Listians :)

these bags are super soft buttery leather- i've also seen them at marshall's and tj maxx's for over $120 easy- this is a gem- and i bet this will be really popular. yes, i agree, this site is addicting. for the most part, people are nice. good luck!

I know this purse is leather.....I believe all B Makowsky handbags are made of leather.... I work at a QVC auction and that is their main selling purse, along with Dooney & Bourke.. I have not seen a B Makowsky that was not leather....

is it a heavy bag- like 2.5 pounds or more? sometimes b. makowsky bags are heavy, so it's gets even heavier when you put your stuff in it.

I just shipped out another purse that was a little smaller than this and it was 1.5 lbs - I think 1.5 is about average for the larger purses and this is definitely heavier than a normal purse - it's between 2 and 2.5 lbs.

I think it's the Clermont Hobo and perhaps the color is considered pewter but not positive. I just signed up here and am looking around. I have tons of stuff to list but need to learn how to do stuff here. Looks pretty easy. Good luck with the auction as this is a great item.
