This is one of the most colorful hands on activity books I've seen in a long time.It has one page of info about a natural/environmental feature & gives an art project for each one.These projects will definitely yield some "real" art for hanging on your walls(not just on your fridge)A Great book to get the creative juices flowing!One of the wonderful things about this particular book is that most of the materials you need to complete the incredible projects with your children you already have around the house to begin with;like empty toilet paper rolls,tooth picks,beads & buttons,string,safety pins,cotton balls & newspaper.So you are teaching lessons on recycling as well as lessons on following step-by-step instructions to complete an activity from start to finish while learning important hands on facts about what they are studying for that particular lesson!The lessons & activities are simple yet complex enough to keep them busy & entertained while learning for hours on end!Before long they stand before you lesson is complete with a new arts & crafts project in hand to remind them of the fun they had learning about today's Animal Art Activity they completed all by themselves with a "Little" help from Mom of course!
