Yep, positive. I've only ever used my current M4a89GTD Pro/USB3 and MCP6P M2+ motherboards. This one has been unused since I got it from Frys

I just looked this board up and I have found that the max ram supported is 8gb, not 4, so apparently, you could put 2 4gb sticks in it. Still a very low budget board, but would be great for an HTPC.
