Questions & Comments
While yes the swastika is used in other cultures to symbolize other things, this is Nazi related. This was during the rise of the Nazi party and a good symbol of how powerful they became even in predates of WWII. The value of coins is more so how much a collector is willing to pay for it or how much it is worth to the owner, not to mention on this site, that would make it free, even if you were to find it for just $2 somewhere else. If you are going to comment on something, please know what you are commenting on.
Chrome I got this is not a nazi coin the nazis didn't produce any coins so why do people keep on thinking just cuz has a swastika which is a muslim symbol it's a nazi coin I'm sorry this is a pet peeve of mine we're gonna sell something know what you're selling and cleaning a coin decrease its value which is only like 2 dollars at most
OK I do know what I'm commenting on for 1 im german for 2 I do research on every coin i owen cus I am a collector and I enjoy knowing the history facts about every coin for 3 I double checked with my grandmother who is hitlers grate niece and 4 I went to local coin and stamp shop to see what they could tell me cuz when I first saw the corn I thought they were nazi coins to
First of all I have never sold anything that had a swastika on it and do not recall ever having you comment on any of my auctions, I think I would recognize your typing skills. You say you research all the coins that you "owen" yet this is not your coin, am I correct? Also, your heritage has very little significance in proving your knowledge, either does your lack of spelling, punctuation and grammar nor your likely fictitious of your grandmother, who would probably be ashamed at such claims by her grandson who is spewing ignorance on Listia.
I agree that the swastika has many meanings in many cultures, but this is a German coin from the early 40's during the rise of the Nazi party, I highly doubt that putting the Swastika on this coin was a friendly nod to the Muslim community that you mention in your original posting. I think it is time you went back to further study your "corn" collection before posting on other peoples auctions when you nothing of the item or it's history.
