After some research on my part it appears this ring is marked WM Ster. Based on a google seach it may mean sterling

It may mean a Jeweler's mark also! Never the less it's too pretty to let go for 7k. It's not nice to offer seller such a low offer when one seller silver for 1,00,000. That was totally disrespectful. I'm F&W&B =)

The WM Ster is the makers mark. Haven't found any info on that mark yet. BTW, beautiful ring!

I found that ring and it's worth $ 22.00. The Hunter Ridge Jewlery Co. Vintage Sterling Silver ring with a heart-cut opal in a scalloped bezel. . The sides around the stone have openwork with scroll and heart design. . Marked STER and WM for WM Co.. . In good vintage condition. . Ring is 0.3" wide at the face. . . Total weight 3.82 grams.
