Even if I loose another 50 lbs. (I lost 30 since January) I won't date a man with a weight-prejudice. If someone is that suseptible to societal influence..... they are not free-thinking enough for me. I am a real counter-culture/"question authority"-kind of gal.

Oh, as for the hubby. You really can't blame him. I tried that. They are like a mom and grandmom in the "eat up. It's good for you"-caretaking/nurturing respect. Besides, it's takes away your personal power away to blame someone else. Seen it, done it. Try going into the bathroom, looking your reflection straight in the eyes and saying, "No!" about 16 times. Try different inflections, gestures and expressions. Honest, it will be fun. Maybe a "Honey, I love you and know you love me,.... but I can't right now. If I do, I will morph into The Hindenburg..... and you know what happened to that, don't you?"
