It needs to go to a coin collector that understands its worth. Listia is a great place to put it on for auctions

Fanned and watching. I'm in coin collecting for the history and fun. Hopefully one day my son will love it when give it to him and not try to make an easy dollar. He's 8 months old so thats a long time from now. Good auction, fanned and watching!

our coin collection was stolen by a heathen in watertown, he befriended my daughter and stole our silver and ran back to watertown, i'm trying to replace all that he stole, as my dearest happiness got stolen along with that book. we had one of these coins, but it was in perfect shape, its sad when some jerk steals your stuff just to sell it at a pawn shop for drug money.my dearest and i are metal detectorists,we love it, and each find has a story.i hope i can win this and i bid and fanned you.

Don't you love it when someone sticks their nose into your auction and tries to sway bids? She's got some nerve, if we wanted an appraisal we would have asked.

i agree w/you alan.. who would ever want to melt a piece of history? i hope the winner appreciates it's value for more than a quick cash in.

NatureLovinPagan needs to go away ...always bragging about "Lifetime member of the A.N.A & a collector since age 8 9 now going on 41" well as a lifetime member you should encourage the hobby and quit discrediting every litle auction you see ....does it make you feel better about yourself to put others down i have seen you do this to numerous auctions i still don't don't understand why you do it ...we get it we are not as smart and good as you ...leave us alone and go away!!!!!!!!!
