"Third Grave Dead Ahead" is the third book in a series, but it is able to be read without the others since the author, Darynda Jones, summarizes past actions at the beginning of the book. I ordered a hard cover to help build a set of series, and the soft cover shipped to me in error. It's a good, used book--some spots on the cover have white spots where the price tags were removed (see blurry photo of the binding--sorry my photography skills are not great).
