Appr. 6 inches. We had a lab that we used it to trim her nails.

No problem but you are very welcome. I need this as I haven't got to get a trimmer for my 2 newest members of our family since we lost our others when our house burned down. We lost both, four sweet pomeranians & the clippers :-( Gl on this listing but sure hope I win them :-)

By the way it would be illegal to ship this item Media mail, you can probably ship it first class if it weighs 13oz or less.. Just wanted you to know.
