They are from Ajman. Ajman no longer exists - it is not part of the United Arab Emigrates as of 1972.

Hi Danny, these are from Ajman. Ajman is now part of the United Arab Emigrates - as of 1972 they joined the UAE, so the country no longer exists. I think that is what your question is.

My daughter, Diana, was born when they were walking on the moon in 1969, so she feels the moon missions were very special to her. We named her after the Goddess of the moon, Diana because of that special event. It is great to celebrate your birth year in some way. I was born in 1941 when WWII officially began, so I have lots of things to put into my birth year. Keep collecting - that way you will have some happy memories for years to come. Sharon

I am so glad to hear what you are doing with your daughter. My US stamps will contain stamps from the various states, so be sure to watch them. If you are missing a state for your project, let me know and I'll see what I have. I also have postcards that I haven't even gotten to yet that might fill in a gap. Great project! Would love to see the results when you are finished. Sharon

So glad to hear from you and your progress in collecting with your daughter. I think this project will be great. You know there were stamps issues for each state specific. I have some, so watch my US auctions for them. One of my latest has a stamp from California, Florida, and a couple other states. I have had stamps from, I think, all of the states at one time or another.

Yea I'm trying to find some cheap folders to put these in when all are stuff got stolen we lost 600 coins the things we had them in I'm glad they didn't take the book for the bills they took the bills out but the book was 30 dollars glad she still has it. But the stamps books and folders all gone so I'm trying to right stuff done in a nite book to keep track. This week we have to move so hopefully next month when I get my disability I can find some folders to separate and books on prices and what's out there. But thanks for your help when I get more credits I'll be back for your stuff its nice stuff you got. God bless.

I'm sorry now that I threw out all the sheets I took stamps off of - you could have used them for the stamps. Check out thrift stores - sometimes they have albums that you could use. I get the stamp sorters from Kenmore Stamp and they aren't bad priced and you can put a lot of stamps in them. I also use photo albums to put stamps and postcards in. You can get replacement sheets and put them in notebooks. Notebooks are cheap at the thrift stores. Just a couple suggestions. Put them on plain sheets with hinges and keep in plastic page protectors. That isn't really expensive either. Just keep them nice and they will last a lot longer. I'll see you back from time to time.
