I looked at some sites like cnet on their reviews
and none called it a smartphone.a couple
refered to it as a multimedia phone.dont know
much bout this phone,but if it is it cant be to smart.i never seen it plug up its charger,itd just beep till it died. lol.ts my freinds and im
selling it for her.

This is a Samsung Mythic, my mom has the same phone. It is an AT&T contract phone, so yes, it takes a SIM card. But no, it does not require a data plan.
