Description

The listing, 1911-S Lincoln Wheat Back Cent has ended.

This auction is for a 1911-S Lincoln Wheat Back Penny. I could go as far as to claim it to be a Semi-Key Date since it has been before, but lets just go with a tougher and much more desirable date.

The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
Be sure to check out all of my other auctions that always run on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

Most of you know that I have been adding a rider to all of my auctions, stating that the post office is no longer reliable enough to get anything delivered in a timely manner and I wish that this was not necessary.
Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packges to their destination in a timely manner. Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay for the Package and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

most people use the worth of a coin to claim key and semi-key dates, where I feel that the mintage amounts will usually be the true consideration. of course a low mintage amount only raises the worth of the coin because of scarcity, but the older pennies have so many that fall into that catagory and therefore really make far too many semi-key dates to actually be worthy of calling them that.
long story short... 2 key dates and 2-3 semi-key are more than enough for any coin.
