Poppies attract bees, butterflies, and birds. The huge showy 2 - 4 inches blooms make them an excellent cut flower, and their unique looking seed pods are splendid in dried arrangements or for crafts. They are known in folk medicine as a mild sedative and analgesic.

I never did get any of the poppies to be blue. I think it was the Ziar Poppy seed (which i'm also selling) that were supposed to be blue, but the woman who traded with me initially said that her poppies never were blue either. I'm not sure why...
I can look for some tho...i'll write to you if i find them!

I will order Himalayan Blue Dutch Poppy seeds tomorrow and hope they come soon. Those are the seeds that i traded years ago...for some reason they didn''t turn out blue ~maybe it depends on where you live?
I'll get some tho...
