Ok, I just tried it on and also measured it. I have a large frame, and it is a little small on me. It came down just below my bra, but I have a large chest. It measures 13" from the neck to the bottom, so it will definitely be ABOVE your belly button. If you have a small build, this will fit you just fine. I don't know how they considered this to be a M/L because it looks like a S/M. Thanks for asking.
