The listing, !!!Size Matters!!! 7" PRICKLY PEAR CACTUS (Cold Hearty) Starter Pad ***LIVE PLANT - NOT SEEDS*** has ended.

You are bidding on the Prickly Pear Cactus pad (sometimes referred to as "ears") shown in the first 3 pictures picture (others are web based).
It's about very big at about 7" and will produce fruit and a yellow flower at maturity. It has been rooting over the past month and is coming along nicely (see picture 3)
Beware of it's tines. They are sharp and pointy!!!
This plant comes out of my healthy garden and flourishes in drought areas. VERY COLD HEARTY
You will receive the exact plant in the first 3 pictures.

Hi there. If you plant early in the spring so the roots can take hold before freezing temps arrive. They will root quite easily in a spot that gets good direct sun. Each year in the winter they go dormant. When the spring arrives cut back the dead pads and new growth will start again.
Hope this helps!
