This serger is about 2-3 years old and has never been used. I always wanted one and bought it from a lady who had received it as a gift and never used it. I opened it and checked it out - it's complete and runs. I never took the time to learn how to use it. It still has the original box as you can see and the original packing material. It has 2 manuals included, but neither is in English! You can print an English one from the singer website for free if you need it.

It puts a finished edge to the seam and trims off the excess fabric. It's the type of seam that you see in commercially made clothing.

It does run quite smoothly and cuts the excess fabric off as it sews. It is still brand new, has never been used at all to make any projects. I tested it before I purchased it and again now before I listed it for sale.

I have regular sewing machines but have always wanted a serger for sewing fleece. I do not have the GIN or I would right now. Oh, and free shipping !? You are unbelieveable !
The last machine I shipped (had to buy insurance ya know) was $40.00. The machine was heavier than yours though. I am watching, fanning (plz consider fanning back) and going to try and win this. Good luck to who ever does though !!
