Description

The listing, FOUR Glass EURO Beads Blue & Turquoise Mix has ended.

Win all FOUR with Get It Now ... gorgeous GLASS European charm beads in a neat mix of pale blues that match nicely, including two bumpy beads and lovely lampwork in the glass! If these do not end GIN winner receives TWO, three at 1.600 credits or more.

My Get It Now is about what you'd pay for a $3 gift card on Listia, a SUPER deal with free US and Canada shipping! Put a little watch bid in and come back to get 'em when you have the credits!

The first FIVE photos show the beads you are bidding on. The remaining photos show some of the bracelets I made (see photos) using my color and silver beads, and some of the many European charm beads I have available on Listia (see my other listings).

European charm bracelets look FABulous with just a few color beads and lots of silver (I saw them in a store this way and was inspired to try it). Check my listings not only for all these beads, but also bracelets and a snake Euro charm necklace (see photos) ~~ everything you need to make your own unique jewelry, or a GREAT gift!

I ship on Tuesdays after my listings end Sunday and Monday nights ... check them out for some good bargains!

Free US and Canada shipping too! I ship on Tuesdays after my listings end Sunday and Monday nights--frequently bargains, so check them out!

Please don't ask me to fan you. I'll fan you if I'm a fan, you don't even have to ask! No more fan begging please!

You are bidding on the four beads in the first photo. The photos of the bracelets are to help bidders envision what they can do with the beads/charms they win. I don't sell the bracelets in the photos ... usually I take them apart after I've taken the photos!

SCAM ALERT ... if you are bidding on a high-value item, like an ipod or other expensive electronic or jewelry item, particularly with a NEW seller, try this ... google the title and/or text of the item, then click on images -- you might see the SAME photos posted with an item for sale NOT on Listia!

A moderator just informed me that an Ipod I was bidding on was copied exactly from a craigslist ad ... photos, title and text. The seller, drewjohn32 (block him now) was answering a million comments, had a sad story (like so many Listia members), and I thought for SURE he was legit.

The point is, YOU can do the same thing as the moderators ... google search for an item that seems too good to be true, click on "images" at the top of the google search page, and if it is a scam you'll find the same item being sold on ebay, craigslist, or possibly another web site--copied, unbeknownst to the REAL seller of the item, and posted on Listia.

I think this is a GREAT tip!

Listia simply can't prevent people from coming here and perpetuating scams like this. It's up to ALL of us to police this site ... the mods can't do it all (but they do a pretty good job, IMO).

Also, feel free to copy and paste my message above on YOUR listings. I think this will help all of us feel there's something we CAN do to cut down on the scam listings and avoid a lot of disappointment this holiday season.

ANOTHER SCAM ALERT ... bio_cratos is selling LOTS of gift cards at LOW GIN prices and NOT sending them. I purchased two GIN from her. She never responded, then another Listia member warned me that she had listed at least $600 in gift cards, sold them, and is not providing the gift codes.

I requested a refund but also went on her MANY gift code listings and submitted a comment warning bidders about her. She has hidden them and blocked me, of course, so I can no longer post warnings on her listings but she is STILL listing gift cards.

This seller has substantial history/feedback so it is NOT OBVIOUS that this is a scam (i.e. not a new seller). I am seeing this more often ... a seller develops a good feedback history then pulls a BUNCH of scam auctions for gift cards. They get their credits immediately, of course, and probably spend them immediately.

Since I can no longer warn people by posting comments on HER listings, you might want to copy this warning for your own listings. Or, go onto her listings and post a warning like I did. I'm sure she will hide it and block you within a few hours, but it's worth saving someone else a lot of headaches.

Here's the link to her page so you can block her easily: http://www.listia.com/profile/77236

Bia_cratos is gone.

Check out my listing that will last 21 days to allow people to discuss scams. Just search "scam story" and it should pop up in the search. I've got to warn you, it got a little off track between two members, but I think if you read most of the other comments you'll learn a lot.

just a FYI --not all listings where you find the exact wording on another item or site are frauds. I have listed many things on ebay and sometimes use the descriptions that someone else has written for the same item.

Good point! We have many ebay sellers here. You might want to mention in your listing that an identical item is listed on ebay but that the LIstia winner will receive what they win. Make a little note at the end "Moderator, this item also is listed on ebay." or something like that. This could be a problem for quite a few sellers, I would think.

I think the mods are looking mostly at new sellers listing high-value items like ipods. I tried and tried to win an Ipod touch, every listing was taken down. I finally used my Amazon gift cards won on Listia to buy one ... done and done. Christmas is coming ... and I've done MOST of my shopping on Listia!
