Description

The listing, *Vintage* 1970s Silver Spoon Ring Adjustable size has ended.

You are bidding on a vintage 1970s Spoon Ring. The inside band is stamped "1847 ROGERS BROS IS". The Rogers Bros created these rings in the '70s to match their silverware lines. The ring is set at a size 8 right now, but can be carefully, but easily adjusted to any size. From my research on these rings, I believe it is silver plated.

Super cute!!

@ Montelongo - You're outbid immediately if someone else has their maxbid set higher than what you just bid.

For instance: the bid right now is 105 credits. If Kojo (the current high bidder) has set her max bid at say, 400 credits, if you were to go in and bid 110, you would immediately be outbid because her max is higher than what you just bid. It would then put the current bid at 111 - one more than your bid, but not to her max of 400.

Also, when you bid on something, it holds those credits, so you're unable to use them on something else until you either win the auction or are outbid.

Think of it like a "pending" bank transaction. You're going to spend the money (credits) but it hasn't fully posted to your account yet. So if you have 1,000 credits, and put your max bid on this auction at 600, you would have 400 credits available to bid elsewhere - even if the auction you bid on and set your max of 600 is only at say 200 credits. Because should you win, those credits will need to be available to cover it. On your main account page (or when you go to bid on an auction) it will show you your total credits, and the amount of credits you have available.

I believe that's why people wait until the last minute to bid - they don't want their credits tied up. haha!

Hope that helps!!
