My eldest daughter, Leah, is 8 weeks pregnant. She won't know if it's a boy or a girl until Thanksgiving. Either way, boy or girl, Mags would be a pretty special gift....
Lisa, too, but I have someone else in minds. Thanks for relisting.

Females do outnumber us guys. If you can get enough of them together with a frying pan in hand and the element of surprise, you all can do some damage. I volunteer for our area's women shelter and just got back from a fund raiser this evening. Wished there was not a need for a women center, but many men will not stop from mentally and physically abusing the females in their lives. My mother unloaded six bullets in the step-father's direction. I only fault her for being a bad shot since he survived. I could have done the job with two bullets or less and gotten away with it at ten years of age back in the seventies.

I would appreciate it if you would hide my comments once you have read them. I don't have that option on my side. Otherwise I would have only hid mine and ask if you wanted to do the same. Sorry about the privacy issues..........

Nothing offensive on your side. I just realized that our conversation would be read by many people who may not empathize. I don't want everyone to know my personal business on an auction site. I would rather keep it between you and me. I am still sensitive about it and don't divulge my dysfunctional family history to any and everyone. I hope you understand and feel the same way..........

Compared to The Simpsons most folks have a quite "funtional" family. Howse that for a segway back to the topic of the auction?

Well the Simpsons do bring out the fun in dysfunctional. They have outlasted many families I have known and still love each other for more than two decades.
