The listing, mixture of flower seeds (lots!) has ended.
**You will get 1 teaspoonful of the seeds. I have no idea which seeds you will be getting since they are all mixed.**
Here is a mixture of the most popular annuals and perennials that will grow virtually anywhere in the US. This blend will provide long lasting colorful blooms for your home well after cutting. These seeds are a mixture of: Baby's Breath (annual): Bachelor's Button; Siberian Wallflower; Tree Mallow; Black Eyed Susan; Blanketflower; Clarkia; Lance-Leaved Coreopsis; Plains Coreopsis; Prairie Coneflower; Shasta Daisy; Godetia; Annual Phlox; Purple Coneflower; Sweet William.
WHEN TO PLANT: Early spring is the best time, but a good plot is possible if planted in late summer or early fall. Avoid the hot, dry summer months when the heat stresses young plants. If you plant in late summer, allow at least 8-10 wks before the 1st frost in your area. This will allow the perennials time to bloom and set seed for the following season.
SOIL PREPARATION AND PLANTING: The most important factor in the seeding is the removal of the existing vegetation from the site. Tilling of the soil to a depth not to exceed 3inches is the next step. Prepared soil should be raked to form grooves insuring good soil-seed contact. After spreading, lightly rake over the seed again. Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistant moisture for 4-6 wks.
MAINTENANCE: Each fall after the 1st heavy frost, mow or use a weed trimmer to cut the plants 2-3" above the soil line. This allows the seed pods from the plants to reseed themselves for the following season..
