I have just harvested the seeds from my female sago palm tree. The seeds are very slow growing but as you can see in the pictures they are very pretty trees. They have to be over ten years old to be fertile and you have to have a male to fertilize the female or she will not reproduce. Once planted, it will take about 3 weeks to 2 months to sprout but if you are patient it will be well worth it. To purchase these palms it will cost about $25.00 to $50.00 a plant, depending on the size of the plant. Like I said, If you are patient it is well worth it....HAPPY PLANTING!!
