This auction is for a 1983-S DCAM Silver Proof Olympics U.S. Commemorative Dollar in its Original Mint Capsule. This is the "Discus Thrower" Silver Dollar.
The scanner picked up every little scratch on the Mint Capsule as you can see on the scans above, but the coin itself is in Proof Condition.

The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.

Most of you know that I have been adding a rider to all of my auctions, stating that the post office is no longer reliable enough to get anything delivered in a timely manner and I wish that this was not necessary.
Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packges to their destination in a timely manner. Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay for the Package and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
