Tom Tom GPS device with the mount and start guide and instructions. USB cable will be included too. It is battery operated. You can use either car charger or USB cable via computer to charge it. Because of its compact size, you can carry the GPS device with you if it needs to be charged at home (or if you don't want it to be stolen when you aren't driving at the moment).

I won this item on Listia years ago but I never had the opportunity to use it so I thought I would bring that back on Listia so it can be used by someone else. Everything will be packaged together.

Does it have the capability to update the maps? If so does it come with free lifetime maps?

Yes it updates the latest maps with the code given on the start guide book that comes with the device. It doesn't say if it will last lifetime.

I mentioned the USB cable in the description. That doesn't mean the car charger is included. I only mentioned that you can use either car charger or USB cable. You can buy one or use the one if you already have one.
