The listing, High End Yarn has ended.

These poor yarns have lost their labels on my massive yarn stash. So the only thing I can tell you is that these are definitely two full balls of very expensive sock yarn. That doesn't mean you have to knit socks with it.
It only means that it us a fine fingering wright yarn. The color combination is Pink and Turquoise. And it is great for baby things, socks, scarfs etc.
So, I guess you guys just have to go by my
Reputation and believe that these are something special. My estimate is that each ball contains at least 200 yards.

No it isn't acrylic. I found another color in the same yarn with the label on and it is called Shepherd Sock yarn by Lorna's Laces. It is a hand dyed yarn made of 80% Superwash Wool and 20% Nylon. It is Machine Washable and each ball is 215 yards

do you know if it is self striping or if its varigated? Is the color in the pic close to true? It looks gorgeous!

Really Good Question. I don't think it will self stripe but I can't say for absolutely sure. But honestly it shouldn't matter because it is so gorgeous . The color in the picture is pretty close to what it is in person which is BEAUTIFUL. :)

I love it. I just couldn't tell from the winding what it might do. It looks very regular which makes me think varigated. However, being sock yarn, it could stripe. Or it could flash and pool like crazy! Either way I think I'll try for these too. lol! I'm just wondering just how big your stash is!
