Destashing Doilies 12 (to start!)
Every time I come across these, I think of another great project to use them up. But I never seem to get around to it.
My procrastination is your opportunity.
They all have flaws. (Hey, who doesn't)
Minor tears, spots, signs of age, and a few wrinkles.
Included are several coaster size doilies, placemats, one larger dresser scarf, one +/- "cardtable" size. Maybe a couple are only good as "cutters" if you do crazy quilting and that sort of crafting, you'll know what to do with them.
I have six, count 'em 6! quilts under construction, so I'm determined to finish those this year. These need to go to a good home.
If the bidding goes up, or something else crosses my path, I may add it. I might get ambitious and starch & iron the lot, but don't count on it. Stay tuned for updates!
Our items are all from a smoke-free, but cat-friendly home.
free shipping to Listia verified address in USA only please.
Thanks for looking!

LOL! Glad I made you smile. Actually, I'm using one I saved for a quilt project AND another one for a costume! Yay me!
Some I have I won't part with: I just look at them, they're so pretty.

Think with a good washing any stains could be removed?

Yes, but time & patience are needed in large quantities.

In cool water with Ivory or fels naptha soap, not detergent , soak for 3 or 4 DAYS, swish it around every day or so. Then, rinse in cool water and see if the stains are gone. If not, repeat for another couple of days. I have had great success with this process on natural fibers: cottons, linen.
There may still be a "shadow" of the stain, but better,
