Description

The listing, TWO vintage rings - Enamelware - 1940s/1950s? Rare and ODD...check these out! has ended.

WOW. I have never seen anything quite like these. Remember the enamelware cups and cookware your grandma had? These rings are made out of the same stuff.

One ring has a red floral pattern, the other has an orange floral pattern. On the inside, each ring is marked with "M.P. - Austria."

I believe these to be from between the 1940s and 1950s based on the time that enamelware was at its peak popularity. However, I can't be sure as a Google search for the maker turns up nothing.

The camera doesn't do these rings justice.I am guessing the ring size is between 8-9. Both rings show some tiny chips around the very edges of the rings which is very typical of vintage enamelware cookware, so it doesn't surprise me to see it on the rings.

I have never seen enamelware used as jewelry in this way so these are a real treasure. The rings are too big for my fingers, otherwise I'd keep them for the oddity of them. So please do me good on the bidding so I can get something else that is just as odd! :D

As always, thanks for stopping by, and happy bidding! I welcome and encourage local pickup if you are in Indianapolis, IN.

I thought about that but they sure seem small compared to other napkin rings I have seen.
