long time. i had mine in a vase for over a week with no problem so im guessing you can go even longer. just keep adding water. as they dry out they shrink back down. adding more water will cause them to expand back out

So without water, they last a week. But with water, virtually forever?

without water in the pack they are small hard little beads. once you add water they expand in about 24hrs. then they last a week, two weeks indefinatly not sure exactly how long . but as the water evaporates out the vase or container they start to shrink back down to size. so adding water when you notice the water level going down keeps them nice and plump
