Yes it works but do not know about the white strip that you are speaking of. I took a pic of the front and back of the battery right before I posted the pics and all I can say is for you to enlarge the pics I posted if that helps, thanks so much for looking. Please let me know how to locate it if that does not help :)

I just tried to upload photos but guess I cant do it so close to auction end but there is no white strip at either end of the battery
