The listing, Breadseed Poppy, Papaver somniferum ~last seeds this spring has ended.
Breadseed Poppies are prized for their enormous pods containing hundreds of sweet blue grey seeds. They used to be called "Opium Poppies", but it is perfectly legal to grow them in your flower garden as pretty ornamentals and to use their sweet seeds for baking.
It's getting to be that time, in colder climates, to sprinkle your poppy seeds outside ~ to prepare for some nice early-mid summer blooms.
These seeds are technically an annual plant, tho you'll usually have plenty of reseeding in all climate zones.
I send at least a 1/2 teaspoon of heathy organic seed from my own garden.(Or More) If you really want to have some blooms you need to plant a bunch of seeds(i believe). So i send thousands.
This is the last listing of Breadseed for this spring. Happy gardening!
