i have been using one in my Boost phone and it helps w the reception/static reduction and outside of my house i do get a greater number of bars for signal but inside of my house..i am renting a basement apartment..completely concreted in..i only get the one bar but im almost certain its do to the type of house lol Anywhere else i go w my phone using these antenna's i have had Full Bars totally full reception wout dropped calls when before i got dropped calls..static and poor reception and only a few bars for signal..so YES they DO a GREAT job to IMPROVE SIGNAL/RECEPTION/STATIC AND DROPPED CALLS
