The listing, Vintage Australia Stamps #3 (Used, 1934 & 1937) **Teambeattie's Stamps 4 a Stamp Giveaway** has ended.
What's included in this auction?
Winner will receive the 2 Australian stamps shown in the photo above.
Stamp on the right was issued in 1938 and commemorates the 150th anniversary of Governor Phillip arriving at Sydney Cove in 1788. 2d, Scott #163.
Stamp on the left is 2d, issued in 1934. This stamp features a merino sheep and inscription for the 1834-1934 centenary of Captain John Macarthur. Scott# 147.
Buying these in used condition from my stamp dealer would cost at least $1.40, so getting them free in a S4S auction is a great deal!
Stamps are 80+ years old, used, cancellation marks vary, and some may have hinge or hinge residue. Additional photos available upon request. Stamps ship free in glassine bag within 48 hours of receiving winner's Listia approved address.
Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding.
What are Teambeattie's "Stamps 4 a Stamp" auctions?
Between now and 2/20/2016, I am listing stamp auctions for just the cost (in credits) of a postage stamp!
Contents of each "Stamps 4 a Stamp" auction will vary, ranging from a single MNH stamp to a partial set/series to a larger mixed lot or even an entire stuffed envelope of stamps. All "S4aS" auctions are free shipping from our smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
I love doing this type of auction because it means that the winners really are getting the stamps totally free and that is what Listia is all about! I am not looking for any profit on these stamp auctions, just to share with my great Listia stamp trading friends! :)
What if I don't live in the US?
This is listed as a US-only auction. International shipping is always more expensive, Any non-US stamp trading partners with interests in a particular auction, please COMMENT on that auction and I will add a GIN option that will accommodate the cost of international postage. Then and only then will GIN winners receive free shipping to overseas locations.
