I really need a harness, too! My dog's is broken, we are getting by with a collar, but he is supposed to use only a harness, due to previous back issues.

He weighs around 20 pounds and has that deep, dachshund chest. I wonder if this will fit? I will have to measure him.

Oh, and I LOVE the paws on the harness: so cute, lol! He always seems to wear blue, too, so this would be perfect. I just have to make sure it would fit him. :)

Yes, he is full-blooded dachsie, and 11 and 1/2 years old. His surgery was when he was five years old, and he is doing miraculously well (knock on wood!) ever since. The harness, keeping him from doing stairs and jumping, etc., are all preventatives. I am so glad we invested in him as he has had many happy years running and chasing squirrels, etc., lol. Can you tell he is the joy of our lives? haha!

Yes I can lol I have a shih tzu (boy) Bought a pekingese boy for husband. The pekingese liked me lol. My husband got a girl shih tzu . Then before we could get her fixed she got pregnant My husband was so mad lol then we got one of her babies. We have four spoiled babies that sleep with us every night. They get there hair and nails done more than I do lol .They have all there own clothes and own bedroom but will not leave mine. When my son passed away on August 5th 2010 I begged my husband to please give them away as I neglect them now I use to brush there teeth daily brush them daily just not up to par anymore. But anyway I am glad he did not give them away. They are joys and precious !!!!!!

my blue heeler is still a pup but not sso small anymore the other i day i chased him all over the nieghbor hood his leash broke lol hard to train his lil butt to "heel" but a harness wont choke him like a collar would i hate that..imma keep an eye on this auction

I am so sorry to hear about your son. I am glad your furbabies provide some comfort and that you kept them close. Sometimes, animals can sense our feelings and emotions. They are good at that. My sympathies go out to you. I cannot imagine, dear.

Thank you yes you are so right that is a picture, I sometimes am booted out of my bed, They think they are human lol. and thanks for your kind words, I have one harness left a smaller one after this I yelled at my husband because he bought six, I wish he would have bought a case all the people that need and like these thank you for stopping by and talking .

I measured all the way around the chest, which is what I think I am supposed to do, and I think it will fit him? Do you think it would fit a 20 pound dog? (And yes, he is overweight: we are constantly working on that!).

It is funny how even ONE little dog can be a "bed hog," lol, which is why I can't imagine all four. haha! I bet they are cute.

I am going to try for this, and if it doesn't fit, I can always put it back up on Listia. That is always an option, lol.

What kind of dog do you have? I just measured around the pekingese his is 19 inches My shih tzu chest is 17 . I just measured around the chest with a tape measure .
